My first film ( what are you doing here)

What went well

First of all in each scene we used different shot types, for example in the first scene we used mid-shots, in the second scene we used an over the shoulder shot and finally in the third scene we started with a close up. Also we tried to make every scene have a different purpose. The scenes ranged from two friends meeting eachother to a car robbery. In the first scene the camera was on the first character we see for a long period of time this would suggest that he is the main character, the lenghth of time he is in the shot shows his importance.
In the second scene the over the shoulder shot enabled the audience to look at both characters in the scene. Both characters are in the scene for the same period of time so the audience would feel like both characters are very important.
In the last scene we started of with a close up of the persons hand on the car this is to show the audience what is going to happen in the scene. The next shot in the scene is a long shot, this shows the person stealing the car. The long shot enables the audience to see everything that is happenning in the scene.

What we could of done differently

We could of used a number of different shots in each scene. We could of also used match cutting, this would allow the audience to view the scene from different areas. Also this would make the scene more fast paced and more entertaining. We also could of used things like match cutting which would make the audience understand the scene more. If the scene was just one shot it would be fairly disjointed and it would also be slow paced.
