Fast and furious opening scene

From the opening scene we can see that this film is an action. From the start we can see that there is an extreme long shot of a big city at night. This would give us the impression that the film will be set in the city. Many action films are set in a city. The editing is very fast paced this would suggest that the film is an action. The fast paced editing will make it entertaining and will keep the audience on the edge of their seat. The car travelling at a very high pace occurs alot in many action films. It shows the car travelling at well over 100 mph this would show that the person in the car is in danger. 

There is many close ups of the driver this would show that he will be one of the main characters. The non diagetic music at the start is quite mysterious as it almost feels as if it is building up to something, this will make the audience intrigued as they will be waiting for something to happen. The target audience of this film would be males aged around 18-35. This is because alot of young adult males will be attracted to fast paced action including life threatening car chases. Alot of males like to watch films that include some sort of danger.

This clip shows a car travelling at an extremely high pace. The audience will want to put themselves in that situation which will make the film exciting. Also the person does alot of dangerous stunts which would keep the audience on the edge of their seats. The character being shown in the opening scene is fairly young. This scene shows him being a little stupid which is a stereotype of young people. The car is a luminous green color, this would connote that the car is very speedy and like a racing car, also the design of the car suggests that it is like a race car.
